Energy Brasil has been set up in 2007 by Michael van den Berg.
Michael van den Berg has been in the woodbusiness for more than 20 years.
Michael studied in 1990 in Memhis Tennessee, USA at the NHLA university and graduated as lumber inspector.
He has been working as importer / exporter of hardwoods in the Netherlands. www.holland-timber.nl
Nowadays Energy Brasil is working direct with woodchips producers of hardwood and softwoods,
in USA and BRASIL, which is sold to the three different markets.
Eucalyptus and Pinus Ellioti has been sold a lot to China for the paperindustry and MDF-Plywoodindustry.
Other pine, hardwood and mixed hardwood chips have been sold to power stations in Europe to burn or to make woodpellets. Energy Brasil is working also with renewable energy and investing in new plantages in Brasil , like eucalyptus plantages. Soon Energy-Brasil will be FSC certified.
